Westfield House is a refurbishment, loft conversion, and extension project. It was an extensive build where we removed the rear of the house to create a loft conversion while extending the ground floor. The ground floor includes a new utility room and kitchen, creating a light and airy space with ample room for the family to grow. Upstairs, the project delivers two bedrooms and a bathroom, connected by a beautifully crafted oak staircase. The result is a thoughtfully designed home that balances practicality with character.
Design Intent
The design for Westfield House focused on creating a bright, functional family home while respecting the character of the existing building. The extension and loft conversion were carefully planned to improve flow, maximise natural light, and introduce well-proportioned living spaces. Particular attention was given to material choice and detailing, including the oak staircase, to ensure the new areas felt cohesive with the original house. The result is a calm, practical home designed to adapt and grow with the family over time.
